Former Prussian Blue Duo Singing a Liberal Tune

Prussian Blue, former anti-Semitic, pro-white supremacist singing duo from Montana is long disbanded. Lamb and Lynx Gaede claim to no longer be white nationalists.

Says Lamb, “I’m not a white nationalist anymore. My sister and I are pretty liberal now.” And what does that mean?

The article in The Daily, first in five years of silence, tells of a change of tune in the now 19 year old twins of Pro-Nazi fame. Their lack of any real knowledge or education in this realm is shocking. Yet, I ask myself, how shocking is it really? How thorough is our education system in relating what really happened during World War II?

SO FEW HAPPY ENDINGS TO HOLOCAUST STORIES, BUT HERE IS ONE!

This is an exciting review of world premiere “A Melancholy Beauty,” an oratorio by Georgi Andreev. The premiere, hailed as “compelling” in the Washington Post, was held Tuesday at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. The piece was performed by the National Philharmonic and members of Bulgarian and United States choral groups. Soloist Neli Andreeva is pictured left. (More about the true story upon which the oratorio is based appears at BostonHerald.com.)

DICK WINTERS HONORED ON ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY, 6/6/44

This article tells of a great fundraising event to honor Dick Winters, one of the consumate leaders of Operation Overlord, so well-depicted in the HBO Band of Brothers mini-series. Several castmembers were at the Lancaster Barnstormers baseball game to commemorate the Allied attack on the beaches of Normandy, France and to raise money for a statue of Dick Winters to be erected at this most important site.

We must never forget what happened during World War II and the incredible human beings who lost their lives fighting against the German war machine. We must equally remember and honor those brave men and women who are still here to tell us about it. We pause to thank the members of Easy Company, most especially the two who were able to come to the event: Babe Heffron and “Wild Bill” Guarnere.

DEMJANJUK…”WILL NOT SEE ONE DAY IN JAIL,” says lawyer.

Munich, Germany: John Demjanjuk, a guard at the Sobibor death camp in 1943, was sentenced to 5 years in prison. His lawyer is appealing the verdict and expects him to do no jail time, the article explains.

There was no direct evidence that Demjanjuk commited a crime, and yet he was convicted, the theory being that if he worked at the camp he was guilty of killing Jews. The only piece of evidence was an SS identity card, the validity of which was questioned in 1985 by the FBI. This benchmark decision by Judge Alt could open the door to many new trials of death camp personnel, where there is no hard evidence for a specific crime committed.

WHY THE FUROR OVER FUEHRER’S WIFE, EVA BRAUN TODAY?

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT EVA BRAUN, GIRLFRIEND THEN WIFE TO ADOLF HITLER?

An article featuring photos of Eva Braun appeared on the web today. Comments and opinions about Eva abound.

How much did she know? Did she believe in what Hitler was doing? Was she blinded by love? How did the private collector Reinhard Schulz wind up with the photos? Why are they surfacing now?

What do we really know about the relationship? A charismatic and politically successful Adolf Hitler was chosen man of the year by Time magazine in 1938. Power certainly is attractive. Success is certainly attractive. What was the nature of their relationship? See 30 photos from Life magazine: http://bit.ly/fQXFgt. Let us know what you think.
